This summer is going to be an eventful one for Holly Springs! As members of the community, we’re excited to attend and support local events. We thought we would share some things we’re looking forward to this year:

Baseball – The Holly Springs Salamanders season starts Saturday, June 3. Come out to watch some of the most talented collegiate summer league baseball players in the region play at the brand new North Main Athletic Complex. Parking is free, and there are tons of great concessions. Hungry? Buy the all-you-can-eat wristband!

  • Holly Springs Rage Baseball also plays games 12 months out of the year and provides a great opportunity for young men to develop new skills, learn more about the sport, and gain a love of baseball. Klooster Family Dentistry is a proud sponsor of Rage Baseball because of the supportive coaching staff dedicated to teaching fundamentals and techniques.

Turtlefest – The Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department hosts the annual summer Turtlefest May 13. Turtlefest is an event dedicated to celebrating and learning about turtles. Check out interactive exhibits, biologists, live animals, games, and a student art contest at Bass Lake Park.

Longleaf Pine Festival – The longleaf pine is an important part of North Carolina. Celebrate the history of this tree at the Longleaf Festival May 20. Enjoy exhibits, fun festival activities, games, crafts, live animals and more — all free. Check out the bulldozer, fire engine and prescribed burn equipment to learn about the importance of fire in the life of the longleaf pine.

A Taste of Holly Springs – If you’re looking for an event that involves tons of free food, look no further! The Farmers Market will be hosting Taste of Holly Springs 2017 on Saturday, June 4. This event is an opportunity for local restaurants and catering services to showcase their signature dishes, and for you to experience the best eats in all of Holly Springs!

Independence Day – Holly Springs celebrates America’s birthday on July 5 with a cornhole tournament, fireworks, food vendors, and so much more. This free event welcomes the whole family — even your furry friends!
